Biography

Julianne Ambrosia, L.Ac., Dipl. OM, is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist in the state of Colorado and is Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  Julianne has also received her Clean Needle Technique certification for the Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Commission, (AAOM). She is a professional member of the Acupuncture Association of Colorado.

Julianne earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The four year curriculum at this school consists of over 2800 hours of training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, practical clinical experience, energetic exercise, and adjunct therapies which include: Tuina, (Chinese massage), Eastern nutrition, moxibustion, cupping, electric stimulation, guasha, and auriculotherapy.

Julianne decided to pursue a career in Traditional Chinese Medicine after dealing with years of migraines, chronic pain, digestive issues, and ovarian cysts.  Western medicine offered some relief from her symptoms, but she was still living in pain on a daily basis.  Her medical doctor suggested she try acupuncture and Oriental medicine.  After a few months of treatment she, not only, found relief from her many symptoms, but she realized that her body was healing itself.  It was then that she wanted to be able to help others regain their bodies and lives back.

Her treatment philosophy is to treat the whole person, addressing all aspects of her patients’ lives.  By forming a team with her patients, they are able to bring balance to all areas of the patients’ life, physical/mental/spiritual health, diet, and lifestyle habits.

How Often Should I Schedule Visits?

Since Traditional Chinese Medicine is such an individualize form of medicine each case will be different. It will differ from patient to patient and condition to condition for normal health and restored balance to be achieved.
